Happy HalloThanksMas!

THE HOLIDAYS ARE SUCH A BLUR!! Yep its that time of year again for the great holiday mash up. The Christmas trees and Egg Nog have been in the stores for weeks already. And now the TV commercials for holiday merchandise are starting to roll in. And the whole election morass has amplified and exascerbated this phenomena. I almost can't wait to get back to tuning out the awful and ever-present pro-fracking commercials funded by Big Oil. It all just seems to go on longer every year. A neighbor of mine has had some pretty tasteless Halloween decorations up since August!! You may have noticed, haha, that my sensitive, arty-type inner child is feeling the overwhelm. So when the going gets tough... the sensitive get cartooning! I haven't done it in a while. But it is very therapeutic for me! I've always been a fan of single panel cartoons, like the Far Side by Gary Larson and editorial cartoonists like Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Toles of the Washington Post. As they say laughter is good medicine! I think we all (me, myself and I) just need to lighten up and flow through this gauntlet with a little bemused detachment! Here's hoping we all succeed.
