Here's my latest: Veil Stripe 7 (above) and Una (below), so named because it is the first painting I've done since moving back to Denver from Golden). Both are 12x12 inches, acrylic on canvas sheets. Both are in my continuing 'Veil' series of abstracts, which portray the the juxtaposition of the physical and metaphysical. While looking at the striped, and X & O veil pieces, I was musing perhaps they are a portrayal of attempts to impose (human) control, the geometrical elements) over chaos (the loose, free flowing color), of the unlimited possibilities of the infinite Universe of which we are all a part. However, my intent is more of showing glimpses of the Metaphysical we get through the more opaque lattice of our perceptions and beliefs. In spite of ourselves, aren't we just a means by which the Metaphysical reveals itself in / to the world? The pieces are priced at $199 each, to purchase, contact me by clicking the Connect tab above. Many thanks for your interest, support and comments.
